Real Deals Media Limited (“Real Deals”) Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions (“Terms”)

Thank you for enquiring about tickets to our upcoming event and we look forward to welcoming attendees on the day. The purchase of tickets for and entry to an event organised by or on behalf of Real Deals (the “Event”) is subject to these Terms. By applying to purchase a ticket for the Event (“Ticket”) you (“Attendee”) agree that:

Charges and payment (if applicable)

  1. If payment is not provided immediately Real Deals shall invoice the Attendee in accordance with the Order Form.
  2. The Attendee shall pay each invoice submitted by Real Deals within 30 days of the date of its issuance (or before the event start date), in full and in cleared funds to a bank account nominated in writing by Real Deals.
  3. The Fee is exclusive of any applicable sales tax (including but not limited to, value added tax) which shall be paid by you at the rate from time to time in force.
  4. If the Attendee fails to make any payment due to Real Deals under the Contract by the due date for payment, then the Attendee shall pay interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 4% per cent per annum above the Bank of England's base rate from time to time. Such interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. The Attendee shall pay the interest together with the overdue amount.
  5. The Attendee shall pay all amounts due under the Contract in full without any set-off, counterclaim, deduction or withholding (except for any deduction or withholding required by law).

Cancellation & Alterations

  1. Where an Event is cancelled or re-scheduled, Real Deals will use its reasonable endeavours to notify Attendees using the details provided at the time of ordering. Please inform Real Deals of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address provided at the time of purchase as this will be the primary method of communication for the Event.
  2. Once purchased, Tickets cannot be refunded or returned unless the Event is cancelled, moved to another date, or if details of the Event are significantly changed after an order is placed (significant changes being a change of headline speaker, change of venue city or material change in Event time). In the situation that the Event is re-scheduled or details of the Event are significantly changed (each a “Material Change”), then Real Deals will notify the Attendee of the Material Change. The Ticket will remain valid for the re-scheduled or changed Event. However, the Attendee is granted a period of 14 days from notification of the Material Change to apply in writing to Real Deals for a credit or refund of the Event fee if the Attendee can no longer attend.Application should be made in writing to Events Logistics at Real Deals registered office or by email to
  3. Events@realdealsmedia.com, quoting details of the Ticket purchased.
  4. Real Deals’ liability in the event of cancellation or Material Change is limited to a full credit or refund of the Event fee only.
  5. Real Deals reserves the right to alter or vary the programme for the Event or to reschedule or cancel all or part of the Event.

General

  1. Attendees of the Event must comply with rules and regulations of the venue which are available at the venue and may be changed at the venue’s discretion and any other rules or regulations which may be included in the Ticket (including but not limited to reasonable safety and other announcements and/or directions whilst attending the Event) must also be adhered to.
  2. By entering the Event, Attendees give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any photograph, film, video and/or audio recording of the Event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world.
  3. Neither the venue nor Real Deals has any responsibility for lost or stolen property.
  4. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the Event, but admission for latecomers cannot always be guaranteed.
  5. You will not trade or solicit trade at the Event without the prior consent of Real Deals.
  6. Admission to the venue and the Event is at the Attendee’s own risk. Neither the venue nor Real Deals will be held liable for anyloss, cost, expense, injury or damage sustained at the venue and/or the Event except in respect of death or personal injury caused as a result of negligence by the venue or Real Deals, as applicable. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes Real Deals’ liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or any other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.
  7. Where an Attendee has purchased multiple tickets (or a table) and invites guests to the Event, it is a condition of entry to the Event by those guests that they are subject to Real Deals’ Event Attendee terms and conditions (“Attendee Terms”). Real Deals will provide Attendees with the Attendee Terms and the Attendee undertakes to direct its guests to the Attendee Terms in advance of the Event.
  8. These Terms shall be governed by English law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  9. These Terms may be enforced by the venue and Real Deals’ affiliates, successors and assigns but may not otherwise be relied or enforced under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any party that is not a party to these Terms.
  10. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be severed or amended in such a manner as to render the remainder of the agreement valid or enforceable.
  11. Real Deals reserves the right to alter or amend these Terms without prior notification. Please continue to check Real Deals’ website for the latest Terms.
  12. These Terms do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. For further information about your statutory rights contact Citizens Advice, Consumer Direct or the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.

Privacy and data protection

  1. We may share your name, job title and company with the other Attendees of the event and our partners in hosting the event (including making this information available via the event app, on social media sites and/or in our event guide). We rely on legitimate interests to share this information because it is a fundamental part of such events (for example, for table plans and networking purposes).
  2. We may share certain information such as your name, job title and company with the sponsors of our events (legitimate interests, of us, to attract the most appropriate sponsors for the event). We reserve the right to contact you before the event/awards to inquire whether you’d like to set up a meeting with our sponsors at the relevant event. You may enquire as to which sponsor your data may go by contacting data@realdealsmedia.com.
  3. Where you register to attend certain seminars or presentations at our Event hosted by a third party, we may share your registration information with such third party (legitimate interests, of our hosts, so they know who has attended their events and so they can contact attendees about their goods and services).
  4. Where you indicate that you want us to share your details with exhibitors at events (for example, by scanning your event badge at an exhibitor’s stand) we share your information with those exhibitors who may contact you about their goods and services (consent).
  5. Event filming and photography: We process your personal data comprised in the film, photograph, broadcast or recording of the Event so that we have a record of our events for our own internal purposes such as training (legitimate interests, of us, to train our staff and help us better understand how best to run future events), to create marketing content for our promotion of future events (legitimate interests, of us, to encourage future sponsorship, attendance and awards entries), to supplement editorial content on an event (legitimate interests, of us, to provide fuller and more engaging content). We may also share this with future sponsors (legitimate interests, of us, to show potential sponsors what the event is like and to encourage sponsorship) and existing sponsors and clients (legitimate interests, of us and our sponsors and clients, to share potential marketing material with our sponsors and clients so that they can promote their involvement in the event).
  6. To the extent you transmit, pass, or otherwise provide personal data (“Personal Data”) to Real Deals, Real Deals will store and use the Personal Data in compliance with all Relevant Privacy Requirements including Real Deals’ posted privacy policy and has contractually required its sponsors to do the same.
  7. The term “Relevant Privacy Requirements” shall mean, for purposes of this Agreement, all present and future
    1. applicable laws, governmental regulations and court or government agency orders, decrees and policies relating in any manner to the collection, use or dissemination of information from or about users, user traffic or otherwise relating to privacy rights or the sending of marketing and advertising communications including but not limited to the Data Protection Act 2018 (“DPA”) and UK-GDPR (“UK-GPDR”) or any successor legislation to the DPA or UK-GDPR;
    2. any written agreements with non-governmental certification bodies; and
    3. Real Deals’ posted privacy and cookie policy.
  8. Without limiting the foregoing, Real Deals further warrants and undertakes that it shall comply with the Privacy and ElectronicCommunications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (as amended) including by providing users with clear and comprehensive information about the purpose of cookies and similar technologies used on Real Deals websites and obtaining user consent for the use of the same (and to the extent those laws apply to you, it shall assist you to also comply). Real Deals’ websites shall contain a prominent link to Real Deals’ privacy and cookie policy and such policy shall
    1. be consistent with your obligations set forth herein and the rights it is granting to you and
    2. comply with all industry standards, with all laws and regulations, and with applicable self- regulatory guidelines.
