This publication is a valuable resource for fund managers, institutional investors, and professionals seeking in-depth information on fund administration, compliance, and best practices in the private capital industry. The Drawdown is recognized for its commitment to delivering actionable intelligence to help industry players navigate the complexities of fund management successfully.

About the role

Real Deals Media is seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive. This role requires a candidate with a proven track record in B2B marketing solutions, preferably in the media industry, demonstrating expertise in email campaigns, copy editing and promotion across social media platforms.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the overall growth of Real Deals Media, with aspirations to grow the business 20%+ each year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a targeted marketing plan that accelerates the growth of our subscription book of business through effective acquisition and retention campaigns
• Effectively executing content marketing, social (including paid), newsletter, media partner, event cross-sell campaigns to generate high quality leads that result in improved new business conversion rates
• Writing, editing and proofreading content for emails, websites, advertisements, brochures and other material
• Develop and implement a clear plan to drive engagement and upsell of our existing subscribers, resulting in improved renewal rates
• Work with the marketing manager to identify areas where we can improve our data, systems and processes and help to drive those improvements.
• Work closely with the commercial director – subscriptions to align marketing and sales growth plans
• Ownership and responsibility for delivering KPIs and reporting to the wider business
• Working with logistics to maintain up to date, relevant content on all Real Deals Media websites
• Implementing outlined marketing strategies for each project and delivering feedback based on effectiveness
• Implementing podcast/webinar campaigns to drive participation numbers
• Implementing and analysing social media campaigns across platforms, including LinkedIn and Twitter
• Monitoring competitors, benchmarking against our products
• Responsible for sourcing, managing and implementing media partner contracts
• Working and liaising with internal teams including subscriptions, conference production, sponsorship and logistics
• Executing email campaigns, ensuring emails are going to the correct data
• Filling in pre and post event reports with analytical information

Skills, attributes and experience:

• Subscriptions and events marketing experience
• Great copywriting and proofreading skills
• Good grasp of tools and technology platforms, ideally Hubspot, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, Zephyr
• Excellent attention to detail and tenacious ‘can do’ approach
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with very senior figures
• To work calmly under pressure
• Hunger to reach and exceed targets
• 3 years’ experience
